Your First Visit
When you arrive for your first visit, please be prepared to complete all insurance and health information forms that will allow us to begin your dental treatment. We will ask you to fill out several forms that will get you acquainted with our office.
Your initial exam will last approximately one hour. You will receive a comprehensive examination, a full mouth survey of x-rays as needed, an oral cancer screening and a periodontal measurement charting. From this information gathered and your discussion with the doctor, he will devise a recommended treatment plan.
Your Next Visits
We will provide an evaluation that will outline your existing dental problems and proposed treatment plan and review any questions that you may have. We may also go over oral hygiene instructions along with suggestions to help you care for your teeth. In many cases, you may also see the hygienist on this visit to clean your teeth or provide any other necessary hygiene therapy.
